NDT / Rope Access Technician

Job Requirements:

EM&I (Australia) Pty Ltd currently require expressions of interest for the following positions to assist with several inspection and fabric maintenance projects throughout the Asia-Pacific region only.

• Rope Access Technicians
• NDT Technicians
• Mechanical fitters (time served trades people)
• 6G Coded Welders with classification stamps (ABS. Lloyds BV etc) on their qualification records
• Advanced Riggers / Scaffolders
• Hazardous Area Electrical Inspectors (time served trades people with additional hazardous area training)
• BOSIET/HUET (cold water)
• Offshore medical (UKOOA)
• Confined Space Entry - preferred
• Australian / New Zealand passport & work visa is essential

NDT & Rope Access Competencies

• All disciplines required, PCN or equivalent Level 2 (UT 3.1 / 3.2, 3.7 / 3.9, MPI, DPI, ECI)
• API 510 / AICIP Pressure Vessel Inspector (Rope Access not essential)
• IRATA qualification essential - all levels

Experience Competencies

• Preferably experience in a similar industry or field in inspection and/or rope access

Personal Attributes

• Team player, self motivated, results driven, good oral and written communication skills

General

• Fluent in English
• Immediate start
• Competitive rates Required for short and long term assignments
• Previous experience or working in global locations a distinct advantage
• Collection of acquired data and compilation of report

Desirables

• Competency in standard Microsoft packages and Autosketch
• MSIC card (Australian Maritime Security Card)
