EM&I is a global organisation and is committed to being a socially responsible organisation. Following the media coverage of the developing humanitarian disaster in East Africa, EM&I initiated a quick response to the effects of one of the worst droughts on record by instigating a fundraising campaign. 

The result is that £8,000 has been raised to date with the fundraising continuing until 31st October 2011. 

Across all areas of EM&I employees have responded to the call to help the African disaster with great fundraising ideas. These have included the CEO Danny Constantinis leading a 35 kilometre bike ride through the mountainous region of South East France.  

Danny Constantinis CEO EM&I commenting on the fundraising said: 

"We have had a great response to our fundraising from many of our employees and partners and even in the current economic climate people have been generous with their money and time. We are pleased and proud to do our bit to help those affected by the tragedy that is happening in East Africa.” 

EM&I have set up links for donations through the Red Cross in both Australia and Canada and at justgiving.com/emialliance for the UK.
