The HITS JIP is an industry-wide initiative, belonging to the FPSO Research Forum, that has revolutionised the way the oil and gas industry manages the structural integrity of floating assets, for example by introducing a Diverless UWILD methodology.

The HITS JIP membership has included operators, regulators, classification societies, academic institutions, and service providers.
