EM&I have recently been awarded a number of new and renewed long-term partnerships (Master Service & Frame Agreements) for robotic technologies by drilling and FPSO operators with worldwide assets.

When it comes to realising the benefits of robotic technologies for FPSO’s and other floating assets, the company believes it makes sense for operators to have a long-term partnership with organisations who understand the operator’s needs and are able to introduce customised new technologies that improve safety and productivity.

The Hull Inspection Techniques & Strategy (HITS) Joint Industry Project (JIP) is an example of how long-term partnerships for robotic technologies between multiple operators, classification societies and service providers can also bring wide ranging benefits such as diverless inspections and repairs and remote inspection of confined spaces.

Danny Constantinis, Executive “It’s the ideal way of working together. We consider ourselves as partners to each of our clients, often with relationships that last for more than 10 years. This allows us to understand our client’s business and helps us develop bespoke, value added services, using our continuing investment in robotic and digital solutions that enhance safe and profitable operations”.
