A quarter of the world’s FPSOs operate in Brazil with a 50% increase expected by 2027.

EM&I have been operating in Brazil for ten years and continue to invest in what is one of the most important markets for EM&I and our advanced robotic technology.

These investments in local personnel and suppliers show our confidence in Brazil and means that we increasingly deliver ODIN®, NoMan®, and our advanced services with local resources.

We have now matched this investment in people with investment in new Offices equipped with extensive Technical Development and Training facilities.

Centrally located in Macae’s “Polo Offshore” and close to our largest clients, EM&I now has large well equipped technical facilities with overhead crane, large water tank, and full-size structures for testing and development.

These facilities include dedicated space for engineering, operations, training, and administration, and with our offices in the centre of Rio provide what we need for our highly competent and dedicated people to deliver safe, high value, and professional services our clients in Brazil.
