EM&I – the international asset integrity management specialists – has relocated key senior staff, and appointed new staff in Malta to meet the fast-growing demand for their services in the Mediterranean region.

Neil Woodcock (Director of Regional Development for Europe & Africa) has been relocated to Malta, and Robert Vella, data engineer and project coordinator, and Carla Zahra, marketing specialist, have been appointed in Malta. More appointments in Malta will follow soon.

With the invasion of Ukraine and sanctions on Russian oil & gas, Europe is having to reorganise the supply chain for energy supplies, which will involve fleets of FSRUsFLNGs, and LNG Carriers in the Mediterranean, which will all need to be regularly inspected and maintained.

EM&I has been in the AIM (Asset Integrity Management) industry for over 35 years and worked on hundreds of offshore assets during this period. They also lead a number of JIPs (Joint Industry Projects) for the Global FPSO Research Forum, and the FloGas and FloWind JIPs for the floating gas and offshore wind industries.

“We are gearing up for the fast-growing demand for our services in the region, and Malta is the obvious choice as an energy hub of the Mediterranean, both for LNG and renewable energy industries” commented Danny Constantinis (Executive Chairman & CEO) of the Malta-based EM&I Group.
