OTC Asia 2020

EM&I has had an abstract accepted and will deliver a paper titled “Innovative Asset Integrity Management to Drive Operational Effectiveness” at OTC Asia 2020, to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 24th to 27th March 2020.

This will be a significant opportunity to showcase EM&I’s established and emerging technology to enhance asset integrity management, in the context of development of the global floating Oil & Gas production market, and parallel drive for efficiencies.

The paper will include current capabilities, and enhancements due before end 2019, such as ODIN® diverless UWILD and repairs, LORIS™  mooring system inspection, ANALYSE™ statistical analysis software, which reinforces RBI for pressure system integrity, and reduces costs through reduced requirement for Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM), NoMan® remote inspection of confined spaces, with enhancement through laser scanning for structural integrity, and support for EPC organisations incorporating these techniques in FEED for new builds, as well as conversions.

Danny Constantinis, Executive Chairman of the EM&I Group said: “I am grateful to the organising committee of OTC Asia 2020 for this opportunity to outline technology developments which are bringing significant value to our clients: capabilities which enhance data for asset integrity management, which improve safety through minimising risk to people, and in the current economic climate, which save money.  We will also demonstrate the great benefit of collaboration within the industry, from JIPs such as the HITS (Hull Inspection Techniques and Strategy) and FloGas (Floating Gas) JIPs.”
