Diverless ICCP European Patent

EM&I have now been granted a European patent for the HullGuard Diverless ICCP system.

EM&I developed HullGuard which is a class accepted and proven ICCP (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection) system specifically designed for FPSOs, MODUs, FSRUs and FLNG assets.

HullGuard reduces the safety and commercial risk and avoids the high costs of diver / ROV intervention yet provides highly effective hull protection for the life of the asset.

HullGuard consists of a cylindrical anode with integral dielectric shield that retracts into the hull through a special port welded to the inside of the asset hull and can be fitted to new assets or retrofitted on operating assets.

In summary, HullGuard Diverless ICCP European Patent is a safer, lower cost, reliable, proven and approved hull protection system.
