NoMan® Approval by LLoyds Register

EM&I is delighted to report that Lloyds Register have now confirmed their approval of the EM&I NoMan® Optical services for confined space inspections without human entry.

NoMan® Approval is the third classification acceptance, following DNV and ABS acceptances. And is a highly important step forward because Lloyds Register is one of the world’s leading classification societies.

Danny Constantinis (Executive Chairman) said, “Our NoMan technology minimises the real risk of injury or worse, by avoiding putting humans in confined spaces. Using robots, laser and optical scanners provides better, more reliable information and reduces operational and tank unavailability. The support of the classification societies is essential in driving this vital safety improvement forward and I am delighted with the latest acknowledgement of NoMan from LR”.
