NoMan® Technology

One of EM&I’s key international clients has been selected to provide a large FPSO based on their own advanced design which brings many advantages to the field operator. The project is one of the largest offshore gas developments in Northern Australia and initial gas production from the FPSO is expected during the first half of 2025.

EM&I have been awarded a contract to introduce the latest NoMan technology to this prestigious project, using robotic systems to minimise risk of putting humans underwater, into confined spaces or working at height.

The same client has also awarded contracts to EM&I for using the NoMan technology on operating assets in West Africa. This highly advanced approach using laser scanning robots, equipped with high performance camera systems, will reduce safety risk, carbon emissions, POB and subsequently operating costs.

Danny Constantinis (Executive Chairman) said, “We are delighted that this client has entrusted us with these important advances which demonstrate their leadership position in the industry. We have been moving the boundaries and improving asset integrity for many years through our own leadership of industry bodies such as HITS and the innovations that have come from these joint initiatives”
