Ex Inspection FPAL

EM&I has received a number of excellent FPAL scores and testimonials from SBM for carrying out Ex Equipment inspections, the latest of which was for the Cidade de Ilhabela FPSO operating offshore Brazil.

Mario Paris (RGM South America) said “Ex equipment integrity is a crucial element in managing safety risk on offshore assets. Receiving such good FPAL scores from SBM is a very pleasing confirmation that our teams are satisfying SBM requirements and doing a great job”.

The EM&I teams multi-skilled CompEx certified rope access specialists work as an integral part of the SBM Ex Team and regularly complete more than 100% of the planned workscope.

EM&I, encouraged by SBM is working to develop a fully risk based strategy which will use Ex Equipment degradation analysis studies and specialised non-intrusive NDT to further focus work scopes and reduce costs.
